TypingCraft was built with one very simple mission in mind: to help people type better.
The internet is full of typing tests that encourage you to mash your keyboard as fast as humanly possible to get a high WPM score. But as anyone who has tried to learn touch typing knows, speed means nothing if you have to constantly hit the backspace key.
We wanted to create a clean, distraction-free environment that prioritizes the one thing that actually builds lasting speed: accuracy and muscle memory.
When you focus on hitting the right key the first time without looking down, your brain maps the physical location of that key. Over time, that muscle memory becomes automatic. Speed is just a natural byproduct of accuracy.
Because our goal is simply to provide a helpful tool, TypingCraft is designed to be completely respectful of your privacy. You can use the app completely anonymously without ever making an account. If you do make an account to track your progress, we store only the bare minimum data needed to sync your scores.
