By accessing and using TypingCraft ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TypingCraft is a browser-based typing practice application. The Service allows users to:

• Practice typing with timed tests at various difficulty levels
• Track their words per minute (WPM) and accuracy
• View their performance history stored locally in the browser
• Read blog posts about typing technique and keyboard ergonomics

3. Optional Accounts

TypingCraft does not require account creation to use the basic features. However, you may choose to create an account to sync your progress, save performance history across devices, and participate in the global leaderboard. When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, tamper with the Service, or exploit the database
• Use automated tools or bots to artificially inflate scores on the leaderboard
• Use offensive, inappropriate, or impersonating names on the leaderboard
• Use the Service in a way that could harm other users or third parties

5. Health Disclaimer

We recommend taking regular breaks during typing practice. Prolonged, uninterrupted typing can lead to repetitive strain injury (RSI). The Service is not responsible for any physical injury resulting from extended use.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within TypingCraft is the property of TypingCraft. The word lists and training texts are curated for educational purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. TypingCraft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
